Leisa grew up on a dairy farm in Gippsland, Victoria, and started her vet nursing career many years ago when living in Warrnambool. However, after deciding that she was fed up with being cold, she decided to move to sunny Yeppoon in 2010. Leisa has worked at Yeppoon Vet Surgery since mid-2022 and is not only a vet nurse, but also a wildlife carer, a foster carer for Capricorn Animal Aid, and a horse rider. She lives with her partner and four kids (with another one on the way!) as well as an assortment of animals, which currently includes four horses, three of her own dogs, two foster puppies, and a constant stream of wildlife. Life is never dull…
