Fiona studied Veterinary Science at University of Queensland, graduating in 1995. She moved to Yeppoon in 2007 with her family, and has been at Yeppoon Vet Surgery since 2009.

Outside of work, Fiona is kept busy with her property. Her menagerie consists of dogs, cats, horses, goats and chickens.
