Dr Fiona
Lead Vet
  • BVSc

Fiona studied Veterinary Science at University of Queensland, graduating in 1995. She moved to Yeppoon in 2007 with her family, and has been at Yeppoon Vet Surgery since 2009.

Outside of work, Fiona enjoys horse-riding, and is kept busy with her family and their property. Her menagerie consists of 2 dogs, 2 cats, horses, goats and chickens.

Dr Sam Allen

Sam has recently joined our team! Sam grew up in Yeppoon, before leaving for university in Townsville, where she graduated from JCU in 2014. Sam spent 3 years working in a clinic in Rockhampton, before moving to the UK for a few years. Upon returning to Australia, she has spent time working in Brisbane and interstate as a locum. Sam came to us as a locum Vet, and decided to stay on and base herself back in Yeppoon! We are lucky to have her.

Dr Leilani David

Lani has recently joined our team in 2021 as a Veterinarian. Lani moved back to Australia from Fiji to join us here, after completing her Bachelor of Veterinary Science here in Australia.

Lani has a dog in Fiji she is hoping will come and join her here as soon as possible.

Practice Manager

Jo moved to Yeppoon in 1992, and completed High School here. She worked for Yeppoon Vet Surgery for about 2 years during 1998-2000. Jo re-joined the Yeppoon Vet team in 2013, after having a career in the automotive industry for 10 years.

Outside of work, Jo enjoys reading and netball, and spending time with family and friends. Jo has an eclectus parrot called Oli and a dog called Manny.

Part Time Vet Nurse

Emma started Nursing in 2010, and has been at Yeppoon Vet Surgery since August 2012. Emma moved to Yeppoon in 2002, and completed High School locally.

Outside of work, Emma spends her time horse-riding with her horse, Leo, and working on her property with her husband. She has 2 dogs and a cat, as well as her horse.

Vet Nurse

Nicole started as a school based trainee veterinary nurse with Yeppoon Vet Surgery in 2011. She completed her traineeship, and therefore Certificate II in Animal Studies in December 2012.

Nicole grew up on her family property in Theodore, but attended school in Rockhampton. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym and being with friends. She has a cat called Ralph out at her family property. Nicole completed her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2019.

Part Time Vet Nurse

Simone joined Yeppoon Vet Surgery in September 2012, after managing one of the local Boarding Kennels. Simone moved to Yeppoon in 2005.

When she’s not at work, Simone likes to take her dogs and kids to the beach, and see family and friends. She has 2 dogs and a cat.

Part Time Vet Nurse

Esther has lived in Yeppoon for 10 years, and has joined our team in July 2018. Esther has been nursing for since 2013.

Esther owns a small acreage out of town towards Bungundarra and has quite a menagerie of animals, consisting of dogs, cats, horses, cattle and chickens!

Part Time Vet Nurse

Amy started her career in animal care in 2005, completing a school based traineeship (Certificate III in Companion Animal Care and Services) with Rocky Pet World.  After working in other industries, Amy started volunteering at a local vet clinic where she started her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Amy joined our team in 2016 and completed her Cert IV in Nursing with us in 2019.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her partner, and their 2 fur children, usually at the beach or four wheel driving around our region.

Rachael W
Vet Nurse

Rachael joined the team in 2021. Rachael grew up in Northern NSW. She completed her Certificate IV in Vet Nursing at a clinic in Gladstone, before moving to Yeppoon with her partner in 2021.

Casual Vet Nurse

Nicacia started with us in August 2019. She has lived in Rockhampton her whole life. Her love for animals came from growing up on a property, and her Grandad used to be a vet, so she has wanted to do Vet Nursing since she was a child. She has 1 dog, and 2 cats.

Part Time Vet Nurse

Kelly has recently moved to Yeppoon and joined our Yeppoon Vet family in 2020. She started out as a junior in the industry in 2004.

She lives on a property out of town with her partner, cat, 2 dogs and goats!

Rachel joined our team in 2020 as a junior. In 2021, she started her school based traineeship, and is completing her Certificate II in Animal Studies. She is currently in Year 11, and working part time with our clinic
