Veterinary Nurse – Part Time
Yeppoon Vet Surgery is seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our busy and supportive team on a part-time basis.
Position Overview
This role offers an initial commitment of 18.5 hours per week, including one Saturday morning (half-day) per month. Additional hours may be available when team members are on leave, so flexibility is essential.
This is a fast-paced clinical environment, and we are looking for someone who is confident, efficient, and able to adapt quickly while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
About You
We are looking for a team-focused nurse who can bring both skill and a positive attitude to our workplace. You will ideally have:

Minimum 12 months’ experience in a similar veterinary nursing role

Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (preferred but not essential)

Confidence in core nursing duties including anaesthetic monitoring, IV catheter placement, and blood collection

Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

A proactive approach and willingness to learn quickly

Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a strong focus on clinic culture
